Sports Massage & Reflexology
Sarah is a Level 5 Sports Massage Therapist and Advanced Reflexologist.
She began learning massage while living in Bali in 2008 after it had been recommended for her for back pain. She was so impressed with the results that she decided to learn how to do it herself. When she returned to live in the UK, she continued her studies to achieve the highest level she could.
Sarah has experience in treating people with a number of different conditions including upper and lower back pain, sciatic pain, tight neck and shoulders, tennis and golfers’ elbow, tension headaches, reduced flexibility and range of movement, ankle and hamstring strain and post exercise recovery. She also does a very good relaxing massage for those who just need some time off!
Sarah includes soft tissue massage, stretching, neuromuscular and muscle energy techniques and joint articulation within her treatments and is happy to treat all ages.
Sarah also trained as a Reflexologist and completed the International Institute of Reflexology Diploma Course, learning the Ingham method of reflexology. This is considered to be the best and most accurate method. Following this, she has trained further, studying under Tony Porter to become an Advanced Reflexologist. Sarah has also studied Spinal Reflexology and Reflexology for cancer patients and also patients with life limiting illnesses.
She has experience in treating people with a number of difference illness and conditions including cancer, motor neurone disease, Parkinson, cerebral palsy, IBS and multiple sclerosis. Sarah has regularly volunteered at her local hospice.
She is happy to treat both the young and the old in both disciplines and has clients in all age ranges.
Sarah has run a successful business offering both sports and relaxing massage, reflexology, pregnancy and lymphatic drainage massage since 2010
She is fully insured by Balens, regularly attends short training courses and is a member of the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA).
